To the 47th annual Bandera Regulars Memorial Day Trail Ride. The ride is hosted by the Twin Elm Guest Ranch in historic Bandera, Texas.
This Memorial Day Ride is a celebration of the beginning of summer vacation.
Thanks to all the lucky folks who made it to last years ride.
The 2007 ride experienced a great deal of rain. The Medina river was swollen beyond its banks and it took some folks a little extra time to get to the camp. But man, 'o man when we got there we had some fun. Saturdays ride got off a little late, but when we did hit the trails, we were privileged to see the beauty and clean fresh look of the surrounding country. As much of a bother as we thought the rain was going to be, we were happy to be out there enjoying nature. It sort of gives new meaning to the idea of "Y'all come, rain or shine!"
